Awards

Student of the Month- Each month a student is selected from each classroom as the "Student of the Month."  Selection is based on citizenship, classroom behavior, playground behavior, academics, with teacher and principal input.  A letter informing and congratulating the parents is sent to the home of the student.  Those selected eat lunch together with the principal.  They will also receive a certificate of recognition.

Terrific Kid- Students in grades TK-5 have an opportunity to be recognized as a Terrific Kid.  Special recognition is given to a student who displays responsible citizenship and academic merit.  Each month a student in each classroom is recognized with a "Terrific Kid" certificate and pencil.
