School Site Council
Roles and Responsibilities
SSC serves as the school community representative body for determining the focus of the school's academic instructional program and all related categorical resources. The SSC is responsible for:
- analyzing and evaluating the academic achievement of all students
- making recommendations regarding the focus of the school's School Plan for Student Achievement
- developing and approving the school plan and all proposed expenditures in accordance with state and federal laws
- recommending plan to the local governing board
- monitoring of the implementation of the plan, budgets, and expenditures
- revising the school plan
- participating in local, state and federal reviews of the school program for compliance and quality
- evaluating the effectiveness of the school's progress toward meeting goals to raise academic achievement for all students
SSC Dates:
November 16th @ 5:30pm, January 25th @ 5:30pm, March 22nd @ 5:30pm and May 10th @ 5:30pm
